How we ask before we text you
Diamond Exteriors LLC is a residential exterior contracting company in Manassas, Virginia. This page exists so that anyone, including a mobile carrier reviewing our messaging program, can see exactly how a homeowner gives us permission to send them a text message. Nothing here is behind a login.
What we text about
We text homeowners about the specific project they asked us to look at. That means confirming an inspection appointment, telling someone an estimate or proposal is ready to read, sending a one time verification code when they sign in to their project portal, letting them know an invoice has been sent, and following up once the work is finished.
Messages are sent from (703) 372-9241. Message frequency varies with the project. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help.
We do not send promotional or marketing text messages on this program. Marketing consent is asked for separately, as an unchecked box, and is never a condition of doing business with us.
The two ways somebody opts in
There are two, and both are described here in full. Nobody is added to our messaging list by import, purchase, referral, or from any list we did not collect ourselves.
### 1 · The contact form on this website
The form at diamondexteriorsva.com collects a name, an email address, a phone number and a message. Directly above the SEND button, visible to everyone with no checkbox required, it displays this text word for word:
- "By submitting this form you agree that Diamond Exteriors LLC may contact you by phone, email and text about your request: scheduling, your estimate, and access to your project portal. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to stop texts, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms."
Privacy Policy and Terms in that sentence are links to our privacy policy and our terms. Below it, a separate and unchecked box offers occasional updates and offers by email. That box is not this program.
### 2 · By telephone or in person
Some homeowners call us at (571) 234-2030 instead, or ask us in person when we are at their property. Before a phone number is entered into our system, the person taking it reads the following aloud, word for word:
- "Is it alright if we text you about this project, appointment times, your estimate, and the code to sign in to your portal? Message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop. Our privacy policy and terms are at diamondexteriorsva.com."
The answer is written down against that homeowner's record together with the date, the exact wording that was read, and the name of the employee who read it. If the answer is no, we call or email instead and nothing changes about their project.
About START, YES and UNSTOP
If somebody has replied STOP and later wants messages again, our reply tells them they can text START to resubscribe. START, YES and UNSTOP are resubscribe keywords only. They are not advertised anywhere, they are not a way to join, and we do not run any text to join campaign, short code, printed keyword or QR code.
Stopping, and getting help
Reply STOP, CANCEL, QUIT, OPTOUT, UNSUBSCRIBE, STOPALL, REVOKE or END to any message and the texts stop. Reply HELP or INFO and we send you our contact details. Opting out of text messages does not affect your project or your price, and it does not stop us calling or emailing you about the work.

What we collect, how long we keep it, and who else ever sees it are set out in our privacy policy. The terms that govern using this site are in our terms. We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers, or consent to be texted, with anybody for their own marketing.
